Order Processing Manager
My name is Andrea Brändle, I have been working for Kägi Söhne AG since 1999. As I used to live in Toggenburg before, for me it was a dream come true to be able to work for such a traditional and successful production company. I really enjoy its excellent products and feel I can identify with the company, so that contributed to my positive feeling about it (and still does).
To begin with, I worked in the reception office. I was responsible for manning the telephone switchboard and for handling all domestic and foreign orders. At that time we still belonged to the Valora Group. Over the next few years, our export markets were steadily built up and expanded. For me, a special highlight came in 2002, when we moved into our newly built offices. As a result of the expansion, since the end of 2008 my work as an “Order Processing Manager” has focused mainly on exports. I also act as an interface between our Sales department and Production Planning. I am in regular contact with our international customers and with transport companies, Customs and various other authorities. My work includes, among other things, calculating and organising our requirement for sea containers and lorries and drawing up all kinds of order, dispatch and Customs documentation.
What I particularly like about my job is the contact with international customers, the variety and the freedom I have to organise my own work. I also appreciate the close cooperation with our highly motivated team here at Kägi, the traditionally Swiss company philosophy and, last but not least, my undimmed enjoyment of our delicious products.
